Product Information

The first Yu-Gi-Oh! release for the console, Dawn of Destiny adapts the explosively popular fantasy trading card game for play on Microsoft's Xbox. The title follows the official card battling rules, while bringing the expansive Yu-Gi-Oh! bestiary to life in full 3D. Duelists can watch the results of the cards they play come alive in real-time 3D battles, or use the game's Library feature to browse the hundreds of monsters featured in the game. The total number of cards available in Dawn of Destiny is well over 1,000.<br><br>Up to three decks can be built and stored, and the game's deck-building interface is designed to be easy to use. The single-player mode allows fans to duel against favorite characters from the animated series, while the game's "Link Duel Mode" lets two human opponents go head-to-head. As with many earlier Yu-Gi-Oh! releases from Konami, Dawn of Destiny comes packaged with three (actual) game cards, including the Egyptian God Monster card "Winged Dragon of Ra" (a collector's item which may not be used in official rules duels).

    Time to duel?

    Pro: Its a strategy game,that requires basic understanding of a concept that might prove a challenge. Con: Its an original x-box game. Don't know if anyone else here has mentioned..it gives a "non fatal (I hope) error message", if used on the x-box 360. Pro: Its not violent. Sure,there are "3 d animated monsters meeting their doom left and right." BUT,isn't that what ANIME is all about?!? Con: You are LIMITED to 60 cards main deck,15 cards side deck. And that applies to all 3 DECKS you can construct. So yeah,novices might be beaten,repeatedly,if they pile all good monsters,spell&trap cards,into 1 deck.

    Yu gi oh Dawn of Destiny

    Great game, its actually just like playing the card game itself, and there are no differences at all, except cards maybe, but this game has over 1000, and you work to earn better cards. Only downfall is, it seems that your suppose to know your opponents spell / trap / magic cards, because if they don't stay in play then go right to the graveyard and you can even read what it does.

    Fun Xbox game

    Great game for those who love to play Yugioh Trading Card Game. This game is for those who already know the basics of playing the card game, since the gameplay doesn't really show you how to play it. One thing I don't like about this game is the way you're able to obtain new cards, which is by picking a statue of one of the God Monsters. Picking either one of those God Monsters will give you 3 random cards.
