As Per Listing. This tool is very expensive for what it is and only works if seals are still ply-able, (not in my case) where they become perished and brittle, I still had to remove the tank. The tools work better on soft seals as assembly is far easier when using silicon spray lubricant as in conjunction and video. I think this is why the video looks easy. Maybe changing seals annually or by annually for this tool to operate correctly. Overall not sure only time will tell.

Always happy when I can do it myself.

A little more difficult to use than the you tube videos would have you believe, but with a little effort it works. High quality aluminum parts. The included keeper bag is the only thing that on the cheap side. Would make more sense to make it out a material of equal quality and put a flap on it. Directions are hard to follow, but if you watch the videos available on you tube they make sense. Makes it possible to re-build the check valve without even moving the tank. Given how cheap o-rings are, it would be nice if the manufacturer through in a few of each variety .

    Fuel tool kit

It worked great the first time that I used it on a 2001 Harley Davidson Road king classic. But, the check valve has four “o” rings. By the time I got to the 4th one, the tools pick didn’t work very well. I ended up using a dental steel pick to remove the last “o” ring. Note: The tool kit works. I just think the cost is too expensive. Maybe it should have additional picks in case one gets damaged. I did some research & found that the picks are sold separately for approx. $16.00. Again, too expensive.

  • Paper clips and Wonderful Machined Tools

Getting old brittle O rings out sucked big time !! Took quite some effort getting all of it out with the use of a mirror and flushed it out good with some spray cleaner !! Took some patience and time !! Lube it up good and New O rings !! Installation was as designed smooth and easy !! Don't know how long the wire O ring remover scrapers will last or will bend up in use !! I have 6 bikes with 5 of em fuel injected !! I'll be getting some practice at it and get just as the video shows with better O rings to remove than the ones I just had I hope !! All and all is better to have this fuel tool for changing O rings than the expense and hassle changing the fitting I'm sure !!! This fuel tool is spendy in itself !! And yess the pouch is very much on the small side for it !! Great wonderful ...

  • Harley fuel quick disconnect rebuild tool

If you are going to purchase the tool, I would recommend purchasing the fuel tool check valve repair kit. Tool is on the expensive side, however if you price out a new check valve assembly with tube, a new fuel clamp and a new fuel tank gasket to replace the tank cover the rebuild tool is cheaper and you do not have to disassemble the tank. I have a 2006 Springer Softail and the O rings were OEM, dry rotten, cracked and stuck in the O ring grooves. The O removal wires could be a little stiffer, but did the job. I had to use a hooked spring puller to get all of the small pieces out, but the tool worked to get the big pieces out. Where the tool shines is for the check valve, spring and O ring installation. All parts are machined to the proper lengths for ease of installation of the ...

  • Great tool!

The tool worked great for the lower oring. Had a lot of trouble with the inside ring. I'm sure it's just a matter of practice. The tool pouch wasn't big enough to hold all the parts and lube. Installation was easy.
