Amazing gpu at less than msrp at long last!
What a great graphics card. It's a shame that it has taken 2 years to get back to the price it should have been originally but as I got it for a great price on a deal (£583) I'm certainly not complaining. If anyone is wondering if they should buy a gpu with AMD's new offerings imminent then ask your self how much performance do you really need? The reference cards should have been £650 with cards like this one commanding a higher price. Unfortunately skalpers, miners, and shortages ruined that by charging double the msrp or more and this has only just come back down after 2 years of rip-off prices. I use this gpu with an i5 12400F and play games at 1440p. At ultra settings or equivalent depending on the game I get fps in the 90's and much higher 3 figures which makes games look ... That is rasterised performance of course which is what I think matters the most. I play a wide range of modern AAA titles and this gpu is amazing. After undervolting the card 1050mv, setting the memory to fast timings at 2100Mhz, Frequency range from 2200Mhz to 2300Mhz and sliding the power limit to max this gpu doesn't go over 200 watts max when gaming and still gets this amazing performance. The ray tracing performance is not anywhere near Nvidia's but works well in games that have a lighter implementation, or upscaling technologies like FSR 2.0 etc. As I prefer a higher frame rate to extra lighting effects I just stick to the highest normal settings which still look stunning. This card will be great for a few years to come in the newest games so I'm very happy with my purchase.
