Fast but very insecure shipping of a rare and limited item in a thin and barely padded envelope. The Blu-ray arrived with minor damages to the disc case, thankfully it can be replaced. Great DVD for an Oakland A's fan. Old or new.
I bought this because I am a longtime Oakland A's fan and think it is perfect for anyone else who is or has just become a fan and wants to see some of the best moments from the world series championships the team has won since moving to Oakland. As a fan it was great watching all 4 of the highlight films(1 for each game). The first 3 are from the 1972, 1973, and 1974 seasons which were just before I was born yet still great to see. Each one ranges between 30 to 40 minutes long. The 4th one is about an hour long and from the 1989 Bay Bridge Series between the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's. That was the year of the huge earthquake right before game 3 of the series. Being a fan and having family living up there at the time I remembered it quite well and watching it brought back some of ... Featuring such greats as Jim 'catfish' Hunter, Reggie Jackson, Rollie Fingers, Bert Campaneris, Joe Rudi, Gene Tenace, Vida Blue, Sal Bando and many more greats of the game. This is a great chance to see this all-star packed team dominate the Major League before owner Charles O. Finley started selling the players in 1975 to various teams. As a pleasant bonus this DVD also shows the Oakland A's team from the late 1980's, which was also a dominate power-packed team. With All-stars Mark Mcguire, Jose Canseco and Ricky Henderson, to name a few, this team swepted thier the Fall Classic. The 1989 World Series was interrupted by the San ... Re-lived my childhood memories with the stars I grew up
Love the DVD. I grew up in Cincinnati during the 70's and this DVD allowed me to re-live the good ole times. I also loved the A's and their uniforms so I was like a kid in a candy store when I was watching this one night. So many stars and HOFers! This was one of my favorite EBAY purchases.
