    Richard Dreyfuss takes the lead role as a man obsessed with Alien contact after a "close encounter ". Put this in your surround system and turn up the volume!

    Hi Not much i can say about this Steven Speilberg film that has not been said,it is and always will be the best film of all time,i first saw this film in 1977 then on VHS then on DVD so i just had to see the film on Blu-Ray,thirty three years have gone past but time has not aged the content in fact the reverse as we reach towards the stars and beyond, peace and love Freedomus ao anat cosamus.

    I'm a believer - but I don't build mountains from mashed potato

    what can I say - kewl film some of the music is outstanding. The story is very good, with an almost on your toes expectation feeling. For its time the graphics are exceptional. The baby alien craft being my favourite along with the musical sequence segment. The added extras in this pack add the special effects inside the mothership at the end, cut sections and a heap of other stuff. This film is one of those gems that you either believe and must keep a copy of, or don't believe and enjoy seeing a grown man go loopy.

    Without a shadow of a doubt, this film is my favourite. I'm 30, and only watched this recently for the first time. It's now become a staple item of my film collection.
