    A comprehensive book on Japanese Maples. Well written, informative, and thoroughly captivating. The Japanese maple is one of the most beautiful trees with ever changing color schemes from spring to the showcase fall splendor. The photos in this book are wonderful at capturing the grandeur of the diversity of Japanese Maples. I own the third edition of this book and must say The 4th edition is well worth the money. Over 200 additional cultivars in vivid color with detailed descriptions. This is the best book on Japanese Maples I've had the pleasure to read. I find myself coming back to re read details on many varieties and am now generating a list of new tree varieties to add to our landscape.
