Soul Bungalow is the best seller I’ve ever dealt with on eBay. He listed, make an offer, on a classic book. I made an offer for a lot less, expecting to haggle. Instead, they sent the book the same day at my price and I had it 2 days later. The book is in mint condition. I am so impressed.

  • Well researched and illustrated.

The authors have delved into the Triumph motorcycle history to bring it up to the point the English motorcycles were brought here, and how. They explain the birth of the parallel twin in the 1930s and the war years to eventual expansion after. The late 40s and early 50s models are discussed leading up to and how a British motorcycle became the most iconic Triumph of all - the Bonneville - and was named after literally American soil. Racing history is included, the results of over-confidence, over-spending, lack of research, the 1973 lockout, re-emergence as a Co-Op, and eventual demise to rise again from the ashes when a buyer purchased the name and little else. The title "Triumph Motorcycles in America" is indeed the go to book on the topic. Well researched and illustrated.

  • An absolute "must have" for any triumph owner... or enthusiast. A+++++

I am an enthusiastic Triumph owner and rider. I have been riding motorcycles for over 45 years. This is an EXCELLENT book covering decades of Triumph information. It covers the early days for triumph and there developments over the many years of existence. It also covers, with great detail, triumph's many successful racing ventures and a list of all the many speed records set on triumph motorcycles. The book continues on to cover the "post Coventrey" years, and details the current, new, Triumph company owned by John Bloor and how Triumph continues to be a successful motorcycle manufacturer now located in Hinckley, England.
