I have to say, Applegate has surely put herself out there with her series. The reason I bought this book was for the fact that she got me hooked in with the very first book itself. I was enver able to find the second one for years and finally the idea to buy it came through thus led me to this one right here. I love it. The main rearing point of the story begins to get at it's climax once again when you meet another one of loki's children who by far is one of the most Wicked atrocious woman would have ever met in your life. It doesnt so much as scare me, but literally horrify me in the digusting way. It gives that that, 'uck' feeling and the whole story and it's twists and how even Hel the daughter really is.. is just set up beautifully in a freaky yucky type of way. The whole story is just amazing, and as the others, leaves you in an angst to read the next one. The only thing I can really say I've disliked about this book was that the scenes didn't seem to last and of course our heroes find a way out of her situation quite easily and hel isn't really to be heard of again afterward. I would have loved to see her cameo in so much more depth because I already loved so much. Either way, fantabulous book and I am happy i've purchased it yet again!Read full review
