I needed a pair of headphones as a stop gap until my studio Bayerdynamic pair came back from repair. I chose these based on my experience of Samson products for the studio, knowing they offer good value for money. I was very impressed with the sound clarity and the range of frequencies they provide. These are open back cans so are more comfortable for longer wear and are light in use. There is no excessive moisture build up or clammy ears. They also allow external sounds to be heard and conversely leak the other way so for recording musicians using them with an open mic may have sound contamination if the backing track leaks. This is a small point though do not take my/ stars as these headphones lacking anything at all. It is just that I am used to phones costing hundreds that rank 5/5 in a straight comparison they would be less but for value they get 5/5 from me.Read full review

I bought these to assess the quality of voice recordings I have been making. The build quality is obviously dictated by the retail price. The headband is a simple rubber affair and plastics are heavily used in the adjustment pieces. Sound reproduction is very good.

What a nice set of cans, great sound quality the high frequencies are spot-on, the bass response is brilliant, a very natural quality to these headphones. They are very comfortable although you do need a big head! I like them and I’ve been using them in my studio for the passed few weeks, for the price you can’t go wrong. Recommend to everyone with a good ear for quality.
