these are NOT genuine GE filters, which i only figured out after a few hours of receiving them in the mail. ACTUAL GE filters have a chip embedded in the label emits a radio frequency identification that communicates with the fridge to let it know it’s legit. suffice to say, these phony filters have no such chip!!
