    Good power to price ratio

    This battery gives better performance than its rivals for the same money so is good value. Yuasa was also the original fitment battery brand when my Honda was new. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was because the retailer did not quote the warranty details in the listing and did not mention the warranty on the invoice. When I made further inquiries, I discovered that the warranty is for 3 years subject to conditions, but in addition is provided by the retailer and not the manufacturer. This could be a concern if the retailer were to be no longer trading, and furthermore that nowhere is the warranty period quoted other than in the correspondence I had.

    Got flat after 3 weeks being idle

    I purchased that battery 7 months ago. No problems till recently, the battery was working fine and the indicator was showing "green". I have not used my car for the last 3 weeks and could not start the engine since the battery got flat (the car was idle with no power usage during the last weeks, all lights were off, etc.). I was astonished that the battery did not hold the charge for 3 weeks while idle. The battery indicator showed "black - to recharge". I recharged the battery using the battery charger for 10 hours - the indicator remained black. I was not prepared to buy the battery that cannot hold its charge for longer than 3 weeks if my car is idle!

    Excellent Car Battery

    After researching for a decent battery for my Toyota Rav4, I came across this Yuasa range. They are manufactured by a Japanese company, and as you'd expect are well made. For example, the terminals are machined nicely, so that fitting the cable clamps is trouble free and very secure. Before buying, I checked the correct model to purchase with Yuasa UK branch. The engine starts very well since fitting the new battery.
