    A curate's egg

    This a silent switch with no fans. It is the same size as the JGS516 and not the full rack 19". It is a tale of 2 versions. Version 1 (3 groups of 8 ports) can only be managed using the Netgear ProSafe Plus Utility, whereas version 2 (2 groups of 12 ports) can also be managed from the web. Personally I have not been able to get LAG (Link AGgregation) to work between either version and a GS724T although it should. Apart from that, a great well made switch. Get version 2 for more accessible management.
