The book is very well written and describes walking a route we’re specific items can be identified enabling the reader to enjoy items that would not readily be noticed by a rambler generally walking a path. The book is full of helpful hints and describes the type of environment that may be encountered along the path dependent on the time in the year that the walk is taken.
