After seeing part of this series on cable television, we were fascinated and wanted to see more. This informative series was interesting, touching, harrowing, devastating and amazing. They say truth is always more astounding than fiction, and this is more than true in the story of Auschwitz. This box set covers the series in full, and is well worth watching. Be prepared, this is not a pleasant story, and some of the footage is graphic. But the insight into what happened, and the testimony of both survivors and ex SS make this one of the most comprehensive insights into the death camp of Auschwitz. Moving and emotional
Everyone ought to watch this set of DVDs - not only does it have historical content, it is the epitome of man's inhumanity to man. A very graphic account of Hitler's Final Solution.

Excellent, yet immotive watch. Highly recommended.
This is my first review on eBay, it'll be short and to the point. I bought this DVD about a month prior to my planned visit to krakow and auschwitz. This is by far the best DVD that I have seen in relation to auschwitz. The documentary is interwoven with scenes played out by actors, tastefully done. I would highly recommend this DVD, and also the memoirs written by camp commandant hoess whilst he was awaiting execution.This is my first review on eBay, it'll be short and to the point.
