    Best feeder ever.

    This unit is my third Perky Pet feeder. If the squirrel jumps on it then the spring action outside metal covering pushes down and closes off the feed openings. I love it. It is the only feeder I will buy.

    Great value, however doesn't stop squirrels.

    As previously stated, this was a great value, so I decided to purchase. It initially stumped the squirrels, until they bent the thin, decoratortive metal that hides the openings for the birdseed. Plus, some of the plastic buy the openings has cracked, either by squirrels or woodpeckers. Regardless, I still highly recommend.

    Perky-Pet bird Feeder

    I have 2 older ones. This one has improvements over the old. However the bottom section is supposed to be inserted and designed to stay put, but it kept falling out. The bottom fell out and dumped a full load of bird feed on the ground. I solved this problem my installing screws on 2 sides to secure it better. No way will it fall out again. It is a great feeder.

    Perky-pet Bird Feeder

    It took awhile for the birds to eat from this feeder, but now they converge in it with great appetite, and have no squirrels to contend with.
