No Frills Tape Machine
Its not the best machine I have, but its a good quality machine. I expect it will last for years. The Scotch dispenser I have has a cutter that moves forward to cut the tape. This one has a flap that simply bends back to put the tape in contact with the cutter. It works ok but takes a lot more force/pressure to shear the tape. Its kinda hard if you are taping a bubble mailer closed or a small box. This is what I would give employees who have a habit of breaking tools...I don't think they would destroy it as its pretty solidly built. Just as good as the reviews say.
It's everything I wanted and needed for medium duty. The actual product varies slightly in appearance, but not in a way that affects function. For instance, the little clear plastic "windshield" above the cutting teeth in the photos was black on the unit I received. But it works well and is a bargain at this price.
