Product Information
This invaluable source book for teachers provides a wealth of presentation and pratice material for the language classroom. There are at least 1000 pictures - of people, animals, objects and scenes - for teachers to draw on the blackboard/OHP, or use in the preparation of worksheets. The book includes an introductory section on how to draw, which gives many useful hints and clear demonstrations of basic techniques, such as stick figure and block drawing. Subsequent sections are organised largely according to the Council of Europe Threshold specification and cover settings common lexical sets, grammatical points and sequential narrative. There is a further section at the end where the role of pictures in language teaching is discussed and several suggestions for useful exploitation provided. A full index is included at the back of the book. The book is in a large A4 format for ease of use.
