      Solid contender from LG

      One of the best deals I got so far on eBay. The panel is excellent and produces vivid images. 1080p/4k videos run in very smooth motion. This being a true Smart TV, you won't ever need Chromecast to stream Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube etc. The speakers are a decent too - down firing with good bass but the lows aren't perceptible at times. That shouldn't be held against the TV though, there are many other models in the range with much inferior audio. I would just reduce 1/2 * if I could for the greenish-white backlight bleed that happens but as I've learnt it is a feature of many 4k TVs out there. Overall a solid buy and you can't go wrong with this one.

      Nice TV For the price

      First things first, no user manual- you have to download a generic one from LG website and it is very unintuitive. If your happy with out of the box settings then this is no problem. Picture quality: sat directly in front of the screen I can't fault it. However, if you move to an angle of the screen, the image becomes a little distorted and the black tones change from black to a grey colour. This though, is nowhere near as prominent as my other Samsung TV, even a slight angle and you can't see most of the screen- thumbs up for LG. It is supposed to upscale lower resolutions to near 4k, but if not playing hd or 4k content then it just looks a little blurry. You may well be able to adjust the settings to compensate but trying to understand how to do this is beyond me for the moment. Also, ...

      Great TV

      My second LG TV and as always it delivers beautiful picture as someone mentioned in a review - who needs oled. Loaded with modern day features. Few things I would change though the curved back, remove connections from the back to the sides (as difficult to access if wall mounted), include magic remote as standard.

      New tv

      Never had a large television before, am impressed with tv I bought. Have not used most of the settings yet but what we have are all ok. One problem was no information on the handset control buttons which to me is very important, overall value for money, very good.

      Great 55 in tv

      Bargain priced telly, even more so with eBay’s £60 discount promo in October. For the money , it’s absolutely brilliant. Easy set up, colours bright, even the sound is pretty good. Keep having to remind myself it was only £389! Delighted!!
