    These strings are pretty decent strings....

    These strings are pretty decent strings. And they put out quite a bit of volume compared to the old bronze strings of yesteryear. You can still flat pick with these strings and be heard in the middle of all those other instruments. No need for mediums, unless of course you prefer the tone
