    Awards worthy movie - This time they got it right.

    This has been one of my favorite movies for many years. It highlights what it is like to be autistic and how that impacts family. The surprise of finding out you have a family member you were unaware of and they had a disability was certainly a challenge to a lead character. Since it was based upon actual circumstances made it believable. I would recommend it to the young adults of today since most have probably not seen it.

    Watch and gain understanding.

    Whoever paired Cruise and Hoffman knew what they were doing. Good chemistry. Hoffman nails the part. I hope people who watch it have a better understanding of autism - if you look past the handicap, you will find someone worth knowing. The movie does drag along at times, but is well worth watching.
