Replacement remote
I hate remote controls! Especially when the brands of equipment being programed are different from each other. I tried the instructions included inside of the cover - (really pleasantly surprised to find instructions there) - but they only partly worked. Thankfully I had a friend stop by who was able to get me up & running in no time. What I really liked about this order is that it showed up 2 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date. AT&T versus att quality (my humble opinion)
In my opinion... The differences between att and AT&T quality is PROFOUND...!! In my 30+ year AT&T career I have never seen the numbers rub off of the buttons like they were made of CANDY. The remote is a CARELESS and v-FLIMSY design... (EZ to use-up (expendable)). I would recommend BUYING a few EXTRA spares and treating them with no RESPECT... Don't forget you should be able to get FREE support from att... DIAL 611 (after being threatened with REPAIR CHARGES (my personal experience))…!! Their only salvation... They SEEM to be more reliable than COMCAST... Although COMCAST remotes need to be able to bounce off the walls better (again... personal experience (because the COMCAST are more likely to get thrown)).Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Not quite "new" - but does it matter if it works?
I have no complaints about the working quality of this remote. Delivery was fast and it works as it should. But I doubt that it is "new" as advertised. The volume "plus" button, the AT&T and AUX buttons and the INFO button were all worn, meaning that the color printing on the face of the buttons was worn off as if they were well used. The rest of the buttons appear fine. Should I really care if it does the job? Probably not, but "new" should be new. Maybe quality control is in order.
