    Superior paper

    Southworth Linen-finish, Ivory paper: Its easy to forgot just how vital paper is to the human world--we tend to think of all of our technological creations--printing press, typewriters, computures, etc--as pre-eminent. Without paper, none of these would be here. And this Southworth paper may be pricey, but the experience of writing on (& reading from) quality paper has Soul. The ivory color of this paper gives a warm, personal aura to the already lush tactile feel. Lucky me, to have found this ream for a discounted price. Superior paper at a great price.

    Excellent quality paper

    I've used Southworth 24 lb. Fine linen paper before. The 25% cotton blend takes ink readily from a fountain pen and makes excellent paper for typing. Excellent paper for personal stationery. This is quality paper that I can feel in my hands. The paper has a matte finish that doesn't produce glare under direct light. 1,500 sheets of this ivory/linen paper will keep me in business for a long time. Office supply stores would charge over 3x this price retail and the free shipping can't be beat. I'm so glad I found this paper.

    Smooth, Sleek, Gorgeous Paper

    Southworth papers have long been the high quality standard for what writing papers should be even as styles and formulations have changed over many decades. I admit to be very anachronistic. I write with fountain pens, mostly with ones that are older than I am. In part because I am old and like the look of old, sepia photos I like writing with brown inks (there are many variations) on a beige toned paper like this Southworth Ivory. I also like the Linen finish which is smoother than the Wove option and more friendly to old, very flexible pen nibs (points) that give a beautiful variable line in writing. If you need to visualize what I'm describing please think the handwriting on the original copies of the U. S. Declaration of Independence or Constitution. This makes for letters that are ...
