    Easy Peasy Replacement

    This was a direct replacement for a 14 year old Siemens RWB2 electro-mechanical programmer and did not require any changes to the existing wired wall-plate. Physical replacement took less than 5 minutes and programming of the central heating and hot water timers from the pre-set settings to personal requirements not much longer. The programmer also had pre-set date and times, the latter only requiring minor re-adjustment. The programmer also has the facility for holiday switch-off setting, but have not yet used this. All control features very easy to understand and use.

    Very easy replacement

    My programmer was about 20 years old. To swap it for this one took only seconds. The new unit knew the correct date and was preset with times to come on and off. It just needed a little adjustment to the times. I could perhaps have got by with replacing the battery in the old unit but this was SO MUCH simpler

    Excellent Replacement

    Saved me a fortune! My old unit packed up, and I was about to call an engineer. I saw this one, that was a direct replacement for my old British Gas one. It had the number that was shown as the right one for my old BG unit.

    A good product so far.

    Works well once you get the programming correct. Its a pity the internal battery is not replaceable and that you have to throw the timer away after a few years, and buy another timer. Would give it 5 stars if the battery could be replaced.
