It took almost three hours to reach a final stable reading, suggesting it hadn't been used for many decades (it had a 5 A B.S. 546 plug on it!!) but once it had been switched on for three hours and the two top trimming potentiometers at the top rear of the case adjusted as recommended, the instrument was found to be accurate and in good working order!
