    Chromed plastic.

    I like chrome on my motorcycle is why I got this. Would I recommend it... yes, if you like chrome. Do I think it's a good value... no, not for a piece of plastic. There are no other choices out there though that aren't plastic, so if you want chrome you're not going to have any options. Is it of good quality... I'm really divided on this. I said yes above, but only because it didn't have any defects in the chroming, no missed patches, globs or wavy spots, it is pretty small after all. I want to say no to the question because it is plastic.

    not a very tight fit

    After only a few tanks of gas my shut off valve fell off. I would recommend gluing it on then tighten with the screw. Might stay on a lot longer.
