    Eye lube

    Bought for our dog who since having her teeth removed doesn't generate any tears. We have to clean her eyes about 5 times a day using human eye drops, then put gel in at night. The oitment from the vet costs about £50 for a small tube and having used it for more than 6 months with no sign of improvement decided to use other products.

    To see or not to see!

    I bought this in lieu of the usual gel I purchase for my dogs, as that had run out. In the knowledge that Beaphar products, in my opinion, are usually pretty good, I decided to try this for a change plus it was cheaper. Whether it did any good was difficult to assess as most of it went on the dogs' eyelashes. It is more like an ointment rather than a gel - similar to Vaseline! So no, I shall not buy any more of this particular product - sorry Beaphar!

    Happier Hound!

    My hound has been suffering with sore eyes due to summer dusts and pollen and I was looking for an eye lotion to match one the vet supplied. This one does the trick, he even patiently sits there whilst I apply it...for a basset that is good going....and gives a good recommendation

    Eye Gel

    It arrived very quickly after purchase. The eye gel helped to soothe my cats sore eye and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. It stopped the redness/soreness within hours. Animals sometimes do get sore eyes with all the poking around they do outside in the shrubbery with their faces. They get dust and grit in their eyes that they cannot get out on their own and this gel will help clear their eyes for them very quickly. I would definitely purchase this product again if needed. It would also be a good product to have in the cupboard as a "just in case" measure, as long as it had a long "use by" date. However, if my cat's eye had not improved within a few hours I would have taken her to the vets straight away. This is not the product to buy if a cat or any animal has a serious eye ...
