    Best buy

    This HEPA filter is amazing. I have a smaller Honeywell that I used for my bedroom and it made a drastic difference. But I just moved from New England down south where there's a lot more mold and a lot more pollen. So I had to get a bigger unit. So of course I stayed with Honeywell since my smaller one performed so well and I bought this one. First of all what makes this great is the blue light has a button which allows it to turn off so when it's running in the bedroom you can have the function lights dimmed or turned off completely. It also runs very quiet unless you have it on turbo. So I run a turbo during the day and then I run it on a lower setting at night and it's just like a little white noise. My allergies are 90% better. Which is huge because I have severe allergies. This is an ...

    A solid simple and effective room air cleaner... tho lacking in ability to monitor air quality

    As simple, basic, but powerful room air cleaners go, this is one of the very best. It is extremely effective in cleaning the air of a room. I've measured its effectiveness using PM2.5 air quality meters, here in California during smoke season, and it works extremely well. I recommend it highly. So to a lot of other reviewers, including Consumer Reports. However, more and the standard is becoming room air cleaners that also monitor air quality, tell you what the air quality is, and can be set to automatically control motor / fan speed based on what they sense regaring air quality. Honeywell's HPA5300 and HPA3300 , otherwise similar to the HPA300, do this, and might be a better choice. Coway's models 1512 and 200 and 300 all have this feature, as do models from Winnex ...

    Great air filter for allergies

    We love this filter. My wife's allergist suggested a HEPA filter for the bedroom to reduce symptoms of her allergies. This unit is quiet, with many great features like a dimmer for control lights, speeds, timers, etc. She has noticed a difference already, and I have too (didn't know I had seasonal allergies). Highly recommended.

    Easy and Effective

    Easy to set up. Turbo setting is loud (expected) but cleans a large volume BR very quickly. Lowest setting operates at lower volume than my Echo Dot's white noise function. Filters will be very easy to change. I did experience a bit of confusion with the fan controls, i.e., where and what to push to change settings. There's no clear mark on the panel. Through a bit of trial and error I found that pushing on the control plate to the left of the vertical row of settings is all that's required to cycle through the settings. The Turbo feature has its own on-off area.

    Works great

    This unit works great. My wife has major allergies and is always sneezing and coughing. Since we have run this unit, it has reduced her sneezing and coughing drastically. I even bought the smaller one for the bedroom. The only drawback is the replacement filters are a bit pricey.
