Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. Compared to photos in listing, the top left & bottom right corners got dinged, and the bottom left (bottom of the binding) is smashed. And then I dropped it while checking the interior for damage (isn't any), causing a dent to the other corner. d'oh!
