    Replacement element for Maytag smooth-top range

    This replacement piece works fine. Needed to take special care to correctly map the old wires to the new connectors because despite looking almost identical to the original element the terminal labels had moved around.

    Not working right, won't adjust

    At first I wrote a product review indicating the element worked great. But I had only verified that it heated up. It turns out that the element only works on high, or not at all.

    Nonfunctional

    Element heated, but the thermometer was broken. So it only operates on high. It was also blackened, as if it had been part of an oven fire.
