This is perfect for my Mazda MX5 NC1, literally is plug and play. No hard wiring needed. If you do feel not confident search YouTube ‘’connect2 steering wheel controls’’ and connect2 have a video on what order to plug things in! Highly recommend this!

Works a charm on my DE 2007 (and above) Mazda 2 with clarion fx508. Comes with instructions and even a youtube video explaining. Had to cut one of the wires for it to work (I think maybe the purple on in my case).
