    Makes the install look top-notch.

    If you're a belt-and-suspenders type, these over-built mounts will make you happy. Installed them holding a 35' pole without so much as a jiggle. Compared to what you get in a home-improvement store, the 12-gauge heft will outlast the house. Why go cheap?

    Better than the store bought ones.

    These brackets are way much better than the ones you buy in the store. I think most of you know the common brands and from where. This is heavy gauge metal and has weight to it. This is my second pair for another project.

    Good sturdy mounting hardware

    Looks sturdy (the metal is thick), Appears to be galvanized rather than just zinc coated. Only negative is that the screws are behind the mount, making it slightly inconvenient to tighten. But I knew that before buying and I would still buy it.
