Perfect! Easy to adjust and has worked perfectly for my 14 coturnix quail chicks for 3 weeks so far. You could probably fit twice the amount of quail chicks i think, lots of space. They've grown quickly. It uses less energy and is much safer than using those red bulbs which gives use peace of mind. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning on hatching chicks! I'd also recommend placing paper towels or something on top to stop them pooping directly on it when they get big enough to hop up lol
