Connection between Freesat box & a Tri link box
I needed to connect a tv signal from my Freesat box using the RCA AV connection available on the cable to a scart fitting on the Tri-Link box. The Tri-Link box converts the TV signal so that it can carried over a RF cable to a TV upstairs. Using a magic eye fitting that comes with the Tri-Link you can access the controls on the Freesat box using a Freesat remote.The picture quality was very good.I needed to connect a tv signal from my Freesat box using the RCA AV connection available on the cable to a scart fitting on the Tri-Link box. Useful lightweight alternative to the fully-shielded 1" thick gold-plated scart cables.
This has the input or output button to clearly direct the signal so it's got better use than just input or output alone. It's got gold-plated quality rather than the basic silver-coloured scart cables. There are different lengths of cables to choose from. The scart cable is lightweight and less strain on back panel connectors so a more secure connection whatever the angle may be. The 3 AV cables can be connected to an extra scart adaptor with the input and outbut button, too. So buying spare ones with the gold-plated quality shown in the eBay large zoom-in images makes sense for future devices being bought. Some modern HD TVs don't have the scart input with the 21-pins. They require these 3 AV circular inputs instead. However, some designs show the yellow video input as green and yellow, ... These may be enclosed within a flip or drop-down casing on the left or right of the panel as explained in user guides or when we read downloaded user guides and manuals in the form of PDF files read by Acrobat Reader and other PDF Reader programs or even viewing the PDFs when we use a Google search. The links sometimes offer an alternative HTML web page version instead... So whatever your VCR or DVD Recorder, check Google for User Manuals or Quick Start Guides...

Connecting new TV to old PVR
Newly purchased Panasonic television does not have a SCART socket. My oldish but still functional PVR uses SCART connection to communicate sound and video. This simple little connector solved the problem. It was cheap, easy to use and was delivered the next day. Can't be better than that!

Absolute gem of a product
Used to connect a Sony VCR which only has a scart connection to a new Sony Bravia TV which only has HDMI and RCA connectors. Works like a charm and unlike the scart to HDMI converters requires no power.
