As described. A real quality instrument for an amazing price. Took a while to first tune, but new strings always need to stretch and bed themselves in. I wouldn’t recommend for a novice, unless you can get someone to tune the octave strings for you. Once tuned, sounded good with a deep resonant tone. A lovely finish and skilled craftsmanship in its construction. I hope it lasts longer than my old Yamaha which I had for 30+ years. With the case that I purchased there’s no reason why it shouldn’t

    Lovely looking instrument

Very pleased. Well packed and nicely finished. Initial tuning took a while and I wouldn’t recommend that this be undertaken by a complete novice or it could result in broken octave strings. Sounds very nice with a rich tone. The edges of the frets need a slight dressing as they are a little rough in places. This should be a simple enough task with the correct type of file. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase. I haven’t used it with my amplifier as of yet, so cannot comment on the quality of the pickup.

  • Most critical review

    Dissapointed

I found the neck to be a little too wide, making it awkward and slightly uncomfortable to play, two strings have already snapped up at the top of the neck, I have no idea why, so I have had to restring. The alignment of the pegs does not allow you to string the guitar as it should be ie. thicker strings to the back and Octaves to the front, so all in all I am dissapointed.

  • Reasonable guitar for price.

This is a great value guitar especially for beginners because its not expensive, the sound quality is good and looks good. The only drawback I had it feels cheap and materials are why the Guitar is cheap. But can't see anyone getting a q12 string Electro Acoustic, brand new cheaper but if just wanting a guitar to practice and plat for own entertainment would highly recommend, but if taking more serious and want to play gigs would not recommend I would spend a little more, but yes great value for what you get.

  • 12 string

this 12 string is actually 5 times better than I thought it would be, it's build quality is good for it's money, the neck is very playable, the spacial sound I'm getting from mine is mind blowing!I just can't put it down! it beats my fender 12 string from 25 years ago. in fact my only whipps is that the action at the nut is just a little to high for a 12 string, but with a nut cutter/file it will be fine. a superb guitar for first time buyer or an old man like me. excellent price for a really good instrument.

  • Cannot be beaten for twang for your buck!

Potentially these will play and sound as nice as Martins etc for ten or more times the price; I say potentially because you have to accept that what comes is a guitar boxed in the factory in China after being assembled... that means correctly assembled but not worked on to make it superbly easy to play... for that you need to buy one that has been to me first!
