Excellent value.
The slight damage is totally not noticeable when in use. ( small digs to back of body) It is surprisingly light. Being a JP bass there is lots of scope with the tones produced by the different pick ups. I played bass in a college group back in the 70`s and have since then played around with 6 string electrics and acoustics., but this is like coming home, A real pleasure to play. Driving the wife nuts with my Black Sabbath bass riffs. would I buy this again if i had to ? Yes, most definately. Body and neck are not in balance.
I recently bought one and in most respects it is good for the money, however there was one design flaw - when on a strap if I let go the neck falls towards the floor, it is unbalanced. When playing I have to partially support the neck with my hand.
