      This tool is the only thing out there that you can quickly and accurately measure brake pad thickness. You are welcome to buy and try the other one then, like me , give it to someone else to wrestle with. No comparison at all. Trust me. Wonderful product

      Excellent tool!

      As a professional auto tech, this is the best brake thickness gauge I have ever used. Accurate, easy to use and get in small places, and very high quality. The only drawback I can think of is that it is calibrated to measure brake pads with 6MM backing plates (the metal plate the pad is attached to), which will cause a 1MM error if using on smaller, 5MM backing plates. Easy to figure this in though, and is not much of a problem. Love these, I have all my techs in the shop using them!
