Just the job for cleaning up grinding wheels
Saw this demonstrated by a guy giving me some H&S machine safety training. Had never tried dressing a grinding wheel before but this gizmo makes it easy. Beware, though: the dust and grit flies off the wheel all over the place - messy, but effective. Don't know how long the diamond tip will last but since I'm only likely to use it once every few years, I doubt that's a problem.

good value effective tool.
Used this to dress out a dent in a bench grinder wheel. I was pleasantly surprised how well it cleaned up the wheel. The dent/gouge was quite deep (2mmx8mm) so I was concerned about the wheel becoming unbalanced. This tool was very effective at cleaning up the surface of the wheel and smoothing the surface out.
