    Great book for prepping or just the historical value for the way everyday food preservation was accomplished in the past. Book type font is easy to read. Illustrations and photos are clear. Paper for pages are gloss which are nice , so is the binding and cover. Just well made all around. Thinking about my pasted relatives will their cellars of home grown foods. Book got here fast and in great shape. Would not hesitate to purchase from this vendor in the future.!

    The seller is awesome. I bought the book in August (somewhere around the 14th) and it was shipped. The original book got lost somewhere in transit, and after waiting a couple of weeks past the estimated arrival date I wrote to them and asked what to do. They checked into the system and found that the book (package) appeared to be lost. As such, they immediately wrote and sent me another book, which I've already received. All that AND the book is awesome too! Thank you.

    VERY GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE!!!

    If you understand the world today and how everyone wants to control everyone else this book is gold. It gets valuable information you can use off the net and into hard copy format. Because with all information on the net who controls the net controls the information. The quality of the book appears to be very good and I have written, designed and self published two books myself that are selling well. Yes I would have liked a larger format maybe but still. I was under the impression that the pictures were all going to be black and white.... not so!!! Lots of great color shots. Pretending that the net is going to always be there for information is a fools move. Considering most people these days could not even light a camp fire this book could be a godsend. For the cost I recommend ...

    A view into my Great Grandmother's lifetime

    The items in this book comprise how people survived before modern conveniences and store bought food, clothes and laundry. Like preserving meat with lard. Doing laundry without a machine. Kitchens and homes before electricity and refrigeration and running hot or cold water or flush toilets. My great grandmother lived to 102 from 1855 to 1957. She could tell you about Abraham Lincoln as President. I was 7 when she passed. One of my mom's chores every day was filling the kerosene lamps for light at night. I now collect such lamps. And bringing buckets of water into the house. Or going to the beach to collect dinner, clams, oysters, fish, crab, lobster and more. This book will tell you how to do all these things and. Wash clothes on the rocks in the stream. Wow. Engaging. Let's hope we won't ...
