A great looking product
We are delighted with our lamp, in which we have installed a Phillips Hue bulb so that it can be switched on, off and dimmed via an App. Being picky, it does not stand up to very close scrutiny regarding quality. Although nicely finished, the metal is quite a thin guage, but for the price point you cannot expect too much, especially if you compare it to other similar items which can run to hundreds of pounds. The 'leakage' of light provides lovely interesting shadows on the ceiling, but I note that others regard this as a negative. The upper legs of the tripod are foiled wood effect MDF but the overall effect is great. This is a great looking light that gives the impression of being more expensive than it is. It gave us the effect we were looking for at a very reasonable price. Nice but flawed
It's lovely, it really is. Only thing I don't like is how much light escapes from slits presumably there for heat dissipation. Shame really as think the lighting effect massively diminished as a result.
