Handle Insulation ... too short....
all is good with this kettle .... the shape... the material ... the finish... the whistle the whistle on/off positioning... BUT .... the insulation on the handle is set too far forward...if set further back it would help to hold the kettle more comfortably and avoid hand making contact with steel part of handle when pouring the last of the water.. ..steel part of the handle is mighty HOT.... a longer insulation or insulation sleeve set further to the rear of the handle would be better ...i cannot shift it.....all is good with this kettle .... the shape... the material ... the finish... the whistle the whistle on/off positioning... buckingham kettle
Bought this kettle to use on my new induction hob. It works well and boils quickly although obviously it will be a lot slower on other heat sources. It has a loud whistle and has a large 2.6L capacity. The base is very large with a 9 inch (23cm) diameter so it does take up a lot of room on the hob but it also means a larger surface area in contact with the hotplate for faster boiling. My only gripe is that it only comes in brushed stainless steel finish and I would have preferred a shiny chrome finish but apart from that it's a great kettle.Bought this kettle to use on my new induction hob. WHISTLING KETTLE.
A sturdy kettle but consequently heavy to lift, The handle gets very hot and the high spout makes pouring and fully emptying difficult. Not really suitable for elderly or disabled people.

could be better :-)
Its a great looking kettle that i bought my dad, sadly the whistle is very poor if it whistles at all its only when you turn the gas off it whimpers for a few seconds. If that one thing was improved i would consider recommending to others. As the whistle more or less fails its hard to say in truth how quickly it boils.
