Dsg 7 speed filter for t5.1 2011-12
Good quality filter with o ring. Changed the filter without removing anything under bonnet. Tools required 22 mm socket and extension with cv or universal joint. Loosen filter housing and then remove by hand. Lay the housing on top of the gearbox. Then remove the housing from under hood/bonnet on the left side. Clean and use new o ring. Filter can be removed from right side. Remove residue oil from filter location using a chicken baste. Wipe out with kitchen paper. Press in new filter. Lay filter housing on top of gear box as it came out. Tighten until seats. Light hand tight only. Some spillage may occur so protect floorGood quality filter with o ring.
