Antenatal Yoga - Relaxation & exercise in pregnancy DVD
The DVD looks like it was filmed many years ago by the style of clothes. In the middle of an exercise the speaker decides to then tell you that you shouldn't do this exercise in a certain stage of your pregnancy (too late already started the exercise). A little too quick from one exercise to another, pregnant women cant manover their bumps as quick as someone who hasn't got one. Not ideal for a first timer to yoga, would be better suited to someone who already practises yoga. On a positive note the relaxation and breathing exercises were very good. I looked on ebay as i was finding it hard to find any excercise DVDs for pregnant woman in major music stores. i was also told that yoga would help with the natural birth of my baby. As i am not due till Jan 2009 i cannot comment if the DVD has helped with the birth but would like to think that it will assit me in some way without taking prescribed birth pain releif. I would have liked more choice but was very limited and the DVDs available were quite a few years old but still i found them to be very easy to follow and not at all hard to do.I looked on ebay as i was finding it hard to find any excercise DVDs for pregnant woman in major music stores. i was also told that yoga would help with the natural birth of my baby. At first i struggled to get the breathing right but with a bit of practice it became easier. I found the dvd to be very relaxing and informative also it is not too strenuos and not too long,not sure if it will still be easy when i get bigger! Would reccomend to anyone if just wanting gentle exercise and to chill out.

DVD Review
I agree with other reviews in that the DVD is quite dated. I disagree, however, in that you can watch it throigh first, then select the bits you want to do or are able to do, by skipping the titles or using the chapter selection menu. My wife has never done yoga before and just sat out the ones she couldnt do. Still amazed how she gets her hands to the back of her neck!
