Cheap fix worth a million bucks.
The gearshift rod bearings bush made by Volkswagen is prone to chipping overtime. I replaced mine with this bushing and shifting has become accurate and smooth again. Seeing how much you interact with the shifter in a car. A cheap fix like this is a bargain in comparison to how it improves the handling of the car.
