    This is an excellent well made tool,I have been using it to dig out bamboo roots and it is a lot stronge than I thought it would be,couldn't have done the job without it.

    Quality correlates with price - perfectly reasonable

    Comes disassembled, ie head and handle separate and only held together by friction. Metal cast is 'scruffy', but this is not unreasonable and overall quality is entirely commensurate with the very reasonable price. Functionally, it's a Mattock; you either don't need instructions or are seriously shopping for the wrong thing.

    Very useful tool.

    Lightweight makes for easy one handed use. Useful for weeding as well as digging small tough areas. I have been using this tool over the last 2 weeks and it is brilliant, Well made, very easy to use and great value for money. If it was to go missing I would buy again without hesitation.

    One of the Three Best Gardening Tools.

    This tool - the mini pick axe with fibre glass handle is a must for all serious gardeners. The same applies to its sister tool, the mini mattock. On the mini pick axe the point is most useful for weeding in gravel or on hardened allotment paths, etc especially in dealing with buttercup root 'crowns', which are so pervasive . The mattock end is useful in loosening packed earth borders, and also for general weeding. BUY BOTH, ( the mini pickaxe and the mini mattock. ) For shrub and major root removal, a full size mattock with a fibreglass handle should also be purchased.
