I may use it, not sure yet.
If you are thinking of combining wind and solar together into a charge controller then this is the one. But I personally would invest in something a bit better. I find the instructions booklet to be packed full of knowledge. The fine tuning of voltages could be dialed or engineered better in my opinion. I have 350w solar, 4-6v T105RE batteries into 1 big 400lb 12V battery. I use a simple sunforce 30amp charge controller, and my favorite item is the TM2025A Battery Monitor (Highly recommended with the 500shunt block) 100amp is an option but always go bigger. One could heat up the smaller. I also have a boy scout type wind turbine that puts out 250watts and or about 12amps give or take. I'd like to try this out later as I go into the wild. Please follow me on YouTube (JamesSingle #Nomad) channel as in a few months I may integrate this into my system. 6-17-20 We go fulltime living in a 7x16' enclosed cargo trailer.

These are bullet proof!
I have 3 of these C40 models this will be the 4th all working on a dump to heating element system set at 31.1v with nickel iron batteries.
