Excellent value, a few flaws
For a case that lets you use the built in Surface stand you can't go wrong with this. The case is easy to install and remove, and while I haven't dropped it yet feels sturdy enough. The carrying strap is a nice feature that I haven't seen in other cases. Stowing the pen is a bit of a strain but I'm confident that it won't fall out. Also the case does have vents so if you're using a fan model you're set. I've had no issues with the USB ports not having enough space as in other reviews; what I do have is the power port cutout not being long enough so the connector will easily pop out in one orientation if you so much as brush the cable - the other will keep it secure. Also, the bottom lip of the case will go wobbly if you aren't using a type cover; although given the limited space between ... Good case, could be better.
Decent product, a little too heavy for my taste but keeps my Surface Pro 6 safe.It actually makes my surface a little bit more clunky to use as well, as the kick stand is harder to extend and the keyboard is harder to flip open, but that is to be excepted with a rugged case. I also wish they would have moved the pen holder. As it stands now pen either gets in the way of the kickstand or blocks a USB port. Perfect fit
I don't understand how people complain about this protective cover. They say, it doesn't fit, or it cracked my surface pro 4. This is all lies. It fits like a glove. The part you slip tour hand in, in the back is sturdy and feels secure in my hand. All ports are accessible. Some people are strange. I love how it protect my investment. This is an excellent product.

Good protection that works well in tablet or laptop mode at a reasonable price
This surface pro case was easy to put on and it seems pretty sturdy. It's not too bulky and everything opens and closes fine. Buttons still work easily, power cable fits fine. The flash drive I tried, fits fine through the case and worked properly. It works well with the detachable keyboard. I like the hand strap on back that helps you hold on to it while using it as a tablet but it would be better if it was adjustable. My hands are small so it works fine for me. My stylus is locked up in my classroom at school while I teach at home... So I don't know how well the stylus holder works.
