Hasn’t aged well. Definitely has it’s moments,, but a peculiar mixed-bag.
Interesting to see so many names early on in their careers. A fair amount of over-acting, particularly from Williams. The 19 yr old with us found it weird, thought the script was written by a tone-deaf illiterate, and plainly would have left before the end if not persuaded to stay. I have fond memories of this, but the concept of King Arthur and the Round Table is fascinatingly out of step with our cynical, lazy, every man for himself times and I am certainly not going to try and sell it to the current generation; There is far too much absurdity here for that. This has not dated well at all. The transfer (to blu ray) is very good. Sound is stereo. Interesting to see so many names early on in their careers.
