    Save your money

    Pretty boring and didn't hold my interest. Thought this book would be more about the original settlers and "mountain men/women" of the White Mountains. The people this book covers aren't really that interesting.

    After visiting the White mountains and hiking MT. Washington I wanted to learn more about the history of the folks there. I have found this book to be very interesting and I am satisfied with my purchase. Great book BUY IT.
