the ruler is good, the angle is a perfect 90 degree, i was impressed with that, the lock system is tight, impressed with that, i only need it for my leather craft and so it wont see heavy use. however steel on aluminium, that is going to wear fast and uneven and so the angle will soon change, but for the price and what i need, fantastic..for heavy professional use, why are you even reading this comment, you should know better.

Engineers rule can't be beat at the price. The rule is well marked - engraved not painted on, so will last. The handle metal is a bit thin but more than adequate for diy use. And it is at a right-angle - not like some. Good comms and fast delivery.
