The Dinky Guide
For those who collect Dinky toys then it is a very useful guide to what was produced by the factory Including the catalogue number and the production run etc. Many of the plates are in colour but some of the black and white ones lack clarify. However I am very pleased with the book and no doubt will not be replaced, other than by reprint

The Dinky Toy Bible
If you at all interested in die cast models and especially Dinky Toys the this the bible. Lavishly illustrated and crammed with enormous amount of history and production detail this is exactly what I wanted and seldom get from a book of this type. Many photo's are taken in B & W at the famous Binns Road factory in Liverpool and evoke the working practices and labour intensive production ethos of the 50's and 60's. This book was described by David Busfield in his book 'Dinky Toys' (pub. Britains Heritage) as a major reference work that every collector should own. That sums it up very well and I would n't be without my copy now.If you at all interested in die cast models and especially Dinky Toys the this the bible. Indepth and full coverage of the range and history of Dinky Toys
The book is in near perfect condition with very little wear. It was very good value for money. This is a must have for anyone interested in the history of Dinky Toys and the affect that Frank Hornby had on British manufacturing in the 1900s.

This book is a.must for any seious collector. Starting at the very beginning pre-war, it covers all models produced in detail and in full colour. This is an expensive book, beautifully produced: if you love Dinky Toys, you have to have this!
